SamEnrico is an independent publishing house founded by Sam Enrico Williams. We publish original titles in hardcover, eBook, audiobook and audio drama editions — and supply libraries, platforms and bookstores with the content and apps they need.
SamEnrico began because traditional publishing had become too slow, too homogenous, and too closed to new voices. We built a house that moves quickly, takes creative risks, and treats authors as partners — not inventory.
Today we publish across fiction and non-fiction in every format — hardcover, eBook, audiobook and audio drama — and distribute through Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, Ingram, Gardners, Overdrive and every other major channel.
Alongside our own list, we run our own apps — ZLOADR for reading and listening, and VoxFlicks for audio dramas in visual streaming format — both licensed to libraries and institutions for their patrons. Our physical bookshop AskSurFa sells direct to readers and supplies bookstores. Platforms with their own apps licence our content directly.
We are privately owned and independently operated. Editorial decisions are made by the people who actually read the books.
We are not part of a larger media group. That means we publish what we think deserves to be published, and we take the time each title needs.
From signed contract to launch day, one editor is your point of contact. No support ticket queue, no account manager turnover.
Every stage has an agreed date in the contract. If we slip, we tell you the same day and give you a new date.
Statements every quarter showing units sold, channel by channel, with full reconciliation of any returns or discounts.
No clause you need a lawyer to explain. If you don't understand a term, ask us and we'll rewrite it in plain language.
If we ever stop actively selling a title, the rights revert to you on written request — no conditions, no fees.
We use AI in production (narration, transcription, editing support) but never to write, ghost, or generate books. Every title is authored by a human.
Fiction, history, business, science, health, illustrated and reference — our catalogue spans 54,939 categories and feeds every reader-facing service we run.
